The SCI Standard Aluminum
Joist is the common element that may be utilized with flying forms, hand set slab forming,
and gang-type wall form systems.
SCI Aluminum Joists may
also be used with many other applications whenever a platform or deck is required, such
for access systems, concert stages, political stages, walkways, etc.
The wood nailer (or
composite) provides a positive means in which to attach plywood (or other) decking
material, and the continuous bolt slot along the base allows for quick, efficient
attachment to SCI's Aluminum Stringers, or other elements, when used with SCI's Standard
Aluminum Clip Assembly or Multi-Purpose Clip Assembly.
The high strength-to-weight
ratio, and the reliability of extruded aluminum's dimensional stability, gives the user
complete confidence in the forming and or access system that is being designed and
constructed.
