I am contemplating a poured cylindrical base, up to 8' high, around steel columns in a natatorium environment to soften edges in touch zones. I would like some articulation, base, reveal, etc. Do you have pre-built forms? Is each condition custom? A few conditions are free-standing, but most engage a concrete/CMU wall?

I found your website by following a trail from the Portland Cement Association's Concrete Homes Page. I am not a builder, but have been trying to find a company that might be interested in developing modular components that could be assembled in trenches, reinforced with cement or shotcrete, then covered over with earth in the manner of a berm. Home, I am not trying to sell anything to anyone, but believe there is a need for safer alternatives to mobile homes where people are at greater risk from windstorms, fires, floods, home invasions, etc. than they are in almost every other form of housing. One study indicates that people in mobile homes are six times more likely to be killed by tornadoes than people in site built homes are!I will send you an e-mail note with more details and a letter with sketches if you are still interested after reading the note.Best wishes, Frank McNeill
